Duties:  Log Meals on Wheels deposits and daily meal counts, track consumer contributions, assist with client reassessments, meal delivery, meal temperature check support, help pack and count meals, pack pet food and treat bags, organize meal delivery routes, write email campaigns and quarterly newsletter, update MOW website, office support, data entry.

Hometown: I consider Waynesville to be my hometown. I have lived here for 38 years.

Education Experience: Associates degree from Southwestern Community College.

Past Work Experience: I have always worked in human services and before that I worked in the food industry. The past 13 years of my life I was with Mountain Projects, Inc. When I started there I worked as an In-home aide for the senior services department. I moved from the senior department to Head Start. I was an early childhood educator. I left Mountain Projects to join this great team in the MOW program. I am truly blessed to be a part of an important program.

Achievement/Accomplishment: This job! I felt I was too old for change and I had dedicated many years to another company to find another job. These two things were huge and it made me hesitant to change. I was nervous and I doubted my abilities. I overcame my fears and gave it my all. Now I am here!

Hobbies: I am a foodie. I love a variety of things. It is important to me to stay busy at all times. My top two favorite things to do is cook and decorate. It allows me to showcase my creativity. I am happiest when I am able to create a scrumptious dish for friends and family. Food is love and it makes me happy to share the love. 

Interesting Fact: I want to go to culinary school.
