Duties: Oversee daily kitchen operations, kitchen staff supervisor, assists staff with meal prep, help manage budget, develops recipes and menus with an emphasis on senior nutrition, community outreach with local farms for supply and sustainability, responsible for a safe and clean kitchen environment, and maintains compliance with all requirements of federal, state, and local regulations/guidelines.

Hobbies: I love cooking, camping, hiking (anything outdoors during any season), playing with my dogs, and spending time with my husband. As weird as it sounds, I also really enjoy shoveling snow. I don’t get to do much of that here in NC, though!
Interesting Fact About Me: The region where I am from is a major supplier of concord grapes. So one of my most nostalgia-inducing smells is fresh concord grapes. Brings me back to driving home with the windows down after looking for Lake Erie “sea glass” with my cousins on a warm fall day!
